Hi, my name is Lauren and I'm a home carer. I've been caring for people for 4 years now, and I love it. I have my driving licence also and my own car. I have experience working within a care home and nursing home setting caring for elderly residents, as-well as having experience of working with clients in their own homes. I have fantastic knowledge and experience of supporting and assisting individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, diabetics, elderly and frail. I have 2 years experience working for the NHS within an orthopaedic ward setting working with adults of all age ranges. I always give my clients 100% respect and dignity at all times, I always treat each client the way I would want my own nana treated. I'm very caring, friendly and a great listener. I love helping people to live independent lives and make all their own choices they are capable to make. I can drive, I have my own car, and I'm also comfortable with pets. I'm happy to do anything from bathing and toileting to helping with dressing and administering medication. I also enjoy walking, puzzles, and gardening, and I like to keep fit by doing yoga.
